I always use a conditioner after washing my hair with shampoo, I have rough frizzy hair and a conditioner greatly helps my hair to settle down. I always use only store bought conditioners and when I came across this video for homemade conditioner I wanted to give it a try.
Coconut milk is very good for hair and I have used this conditioner for myself and my daughter and it does the same job that the store bought conditioners do. It softens my hair and helps the frizz to settle down.
I have used vitamin E capsules, you can skip that if you don't want to.
Ingredient
Method
1. Take the coconut milk in a bowl and add the aloe vera gel and mix well.
2. Squeeze the vitamin E capsules. Mix well.
3. Leave in refrigerator for 2 hours. The consistency of the mixture thickens after 2 hours.
4. Transfer this into a clean bottle and keep it refrigerated. Use when needed.
Storage - Keep it refrigerated. This keeps well for 2 weeks.
How to use - You can apply this all over the hair and scalp and leave it for 10 minutes and then wash your hair with regular shampoo. This gives wonderful results. Or you can apply it after shampoo as your regular conditioner.
Notes
1. Do not add more Vitamin E capsules. It makes the conditioner oily and sticky.
2. If the consistency doesn't thicken after 2 hours in the refrigerator, use a little more aloe vera gel.
